Allen Lawrence, M.D., is a staff member of the prestigious Preventive Medicine Clinics of the Desert, in Palm Springs, CA. Dr. Lawrence is a graduate of U.C.L.A. He attended University or California Irvine, School of Medicine after graduating UCLA. After graduating U.C.I. School of Medicine Dr. Lawrence performed an internship at USC Los Angeles County Medical Center. He then spent 2 years as a Medical Officer in the US Air Force, taking care of the airman and officers, as well as their wives and families.
Dr. Lawrence performed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Upon completion of his residency program Dr. Lawrence attended Master and Johnson Institute for additional training in Human Sexuality.
Dr. Lawrence continued his post graduate education and earned first a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition and then a Ph.D. Degree in Psychology.
Dr. Lawrence practiced in the Los Angeles-Beverly Hills area, delivered thousands of babies, Was Medical Director of the Caring Child Birth Center, Encino and Reseda Women’s Health Centers, ActiveCare Medical Group and most recently, practices Preventive Medicine and Holistic Gynecology at the Preventive Medicine Centers of the Desert in Palm Springs, Ca.
Dr. Lawrence has published three books and several hundred articles. He is a major contributor, Senior Editor and Founder of Well-Net.com Wellness on the Web, YourPersonalWebMD.Com, AllenLawrenceMD.Com, PalmSpringsGuides.Com, iHealedMySelf.Com and six other web sites.
Dr. Lawrence is a Master or Huna Medicine and Healing and lived and studied Huna in Maui, Hawaii.
He is married father to four children and has four grandchildren.
